My college degree and background in Industrial Design, CAD/CAM and 3D graphics propelled me to the heart of Hollywood during the nascent era of digital visual effects for film; transitioning from the realm of optical effects. I embarked on a journey that followed the traditional path of a journeyman; drawing upon three decades of experience in the visual effects industry. Starting as a junior animator, I steadily climbed the ranks. My formative years were shaped by the mentorship of two trailblazing visual effects supervisors: John Van Vliet and Laurel Klick, both of whom hailed from the legendary Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).
